The tidings are hung and the ball is about to be dropped! Small and intimate celebrations at home are such a great way to toast to the new year. Before you roll your eyes and think “snooze-fest” here are a few ways to make a New Year’s Eve party at home extra festive!
Skip the complicated games and bring on the nostalgia!
While we all have memories of a Monopoly game lasting 6 hours, for your party keep it simple. Bring out a deck of cards or even invest in a pea shooter set. With so much to enjoy at your New Year’s Eve party your guests will be happy to know each other over short and sweet games. (Save the Monopoly battle for a different day!)
Make your table a centerpiece.
Don’t feel like a grand table has to be decked out in florals. Make your table striking by creating a centerpiece with a tower of coupes. (We always love adding a rose or dresden in a couple of glasses to give it that extra special touch.)
A simple way to make your tabletop feel even more design-forward is by simply mixing your glassware! We love mixing our Pure wine glass with our Crystal Hi-ball for a refined art deco feel. Throughout the rest of 2020 we will be offering customized case sizes for groups large and small. Contact our showroom to rent those odd numbers of glassware perfect for your party!
Focus on one area.
No need to decorate every corner of your home. Simply create small moments for your guests to encounter! We personally think a New Year’s Eve party is the perfect time to throw up an over-the-top sparkle backdrop and create a small lounge setup for you guests to enjoy. Think of it as a useable photo booth!
Our Velvet Mustard and Leather Lobby chair creates a statement all on it’s own, but looks ultra glamorous against a festive backdrop.
