At Montana Party Rentals, we believe it takes a village to pull off unforgettable events—and for over 15 years, Cory has been at the very heart of that village.
Born and raised in Great Falls, Montana, Cory always had a love for the outdoors and a knack for hard work. He spent his high school and undergraduate years in Salt Lake City, Utah, before making his way back to Montana to attend graduate school at Montana State University, earning a degree in History. It was in Bozeman where Cory found his home—and soon after, his career at Montana Party Rentals.
Cory started his journey at MPR in the Event Prep & Coordination Department nearly 15 years ago. Over time, he worked his way into the role of Operations Manager, a position he has now held for the past seven years. His calm leadership, unmatched attention to detail, and deep knowledge of everything (seriously, everything!) make him an irreplaceable part of our team. From triple-checking orders to ensuring every rental is perfect, Cory approaches each event with professionalism, heart, and a can-do attitude that lifts us all.
He wears many hats—logistics guru, problem solver, team motivator—and wears them all with poise. If there’s a last-minute change or a moment of event-day stress, you’ll usually hear, “Ask Cory.” And more often than not, he already has the answer.
Outside of work, Cory’s adventurous spirit shines just as brightly. He enjoys weekend road trips, hiking, running, road biking, golfing, attending music concerts, and reading. These days, most of his free time is spent trying to do as many of these activities as possible—usually with his wife and young son along for the adventure.
A true sports enthusiast, Cory is a proud Jacksonville Jaguars fanatic. He even makes an annual pilgrimage to Florida to attend a home game—three years running and counting! He’s also a loyal 15-year season ticket holder for MSU Football, having missed only three home games in all that time.
Cory, thank you for your years of commitment, leadership, and care. Your work doesn’t just make events happen—it makes them exceptional. You’ve shaped the way our team works, problem-solves, and grows together. The example you set, both in the warehouse and out in the field, has created a standard of excellence that inspires everyone around you. Your passion for life, your unwavering dedication to MPR, and your genuine care for both your teammates and clients have helped build the strong foundation we stand on today.
