Recently, our Senior Event Consultant, Callie, got married! We are excited to share a closer look at her idyllic wedding. It took place in mid-September, during that perfect window of time when summer is fading away and fall is on the horizon. For the outdoor ceremony, it was sunny and 65. The design of the ceremony set the tone for the rest of the evening. They played on the natural beauty of the location, Firelight Farms. For their color scheme, they chose neutrals with touches of yellow and green.

Ceremony

Surrounded by their loved ones, Callie and Kevin exchanged handwritten vows (which brought about a lot of misty eyes). After sealing it with a kiss, Tyler Childers’ “All Your’n” filled the air, and they exited as The FitzGerald’s. Our wine barrels met them at the end of the aisle, with arrangements from The Wild Blume adorning the tops of them.

Cocktail Hour

The guests mingled about and gathered around the outdoor fire pit during cocktail hour. Settled beside it was Kevin’s Bourbon Bar (our Joe’s Bar), equipped with something for everyone’s liking. Brook Kinna Designs created custom signage, adding character to the bar. Our Bistro Lighting ensured it was illuminated for merriment all night long.

Reception

As the evening progressed, everyone made their way upstairs, where the star of the show, the tablescape, was revealed. Initially, eyes were drawn to the Maddox Plate, and rightfully so, as this was Callie’s favorite design element. The backdrop of the table, the Essex Taupe Linens, made a soft statement. The metal finish of the Maddox Plate against the medley of neutrals created an unsuspecting, yet harmonious, juxtaposition.

The sun beamed in on our Bistro Dining Chairs and highlighted the grandeur of the barn walls.

Florals

The tables were embellished with an assortment of our bud vases. Each style of vase showcased its own flower, adding texture to the setting. We were captured by the way they steered away from elaborate arrangements and rather allowed each floral to exist in its own right. The overall theme of the day was the confidence and beauty of simplicity.

Drinkware

An honorable mention for our Olive Recycled Tumblers. During cocktail hour, they were the perfect vessel for their signature cocktails, huckleberry margaritas and bourbon mules. For dinner, they added depth and worked as a medium between the details of the table.

Cake + Dessert

Their wedding cake was full of personality, no different than the aforementioned features. Elle’s Belles created a carrot cake, which sat atop our Mary Jane Cake Stand and Green Faded Divided Crate. For guests, there was a multitude of desserts, including individual carrot cakes and candied bacon eclairs.

Lounge

The Beautifully Born Events dream team snuck the dessert table and lounge area in while everyone was upstairs at dinner. Callie and Kevin chose our beloved Burke Sofa and Oliver Chairs as a place for guests to recharge before hitting the dance floor again.
